Preview: The Pro 16 Dota 2 League round seven

The bittersweet moment of The Mega8 Pro 16 League has arrived, with the final weekend upon us.

While we are sad to see the league come to an end, we will finally be able to crown our winners.

Shoutcaster and tournament organiser, Devin Rigotti, says: “It is finally upon us, the last week of the Mega8 Pro16. It is a bittersweet moment indeed.

“It’s been a great event and I have enjoyed every moment of it myself. I am sure there are many that would also share that sentiment.

“On a personal note, it’s been an absolute pleasure casting for you all this leg and we all appreciate the support we have received.”

As has become custom, Devin runs us through the matches he is most looking forward to this Sunday:

– WRG vs Energy

Two of the best sides in the group, WRG likely too strong, but still a competitive and enjoyable match up to come. Truly a good one for the weekend.

– Goliath Gaming vs Nibble.Horde

Although both these sides will fall into the bottom half of the bracket, you never know what happens in the future and being in that fifth spot might make the difference down the line. It is important for both teams even if in some ways it may be a bit of a bragging rights match only.

– Divine Sky Reborn vs Epoch

This is probably the most interesting match of the week. If Divine managed to beat Epoch, it would put them in a tie for fourth place with Epoch. I think Epoch are a little too tough for them, but if there was ever a time for Divine to go above and beyond, it would be now.
