Which gaming company is set to take eSports to the next level? Is ‘South Park: The Fractured but Whole’ tackling racial inequality? Are we about to go to space with GTA?
Let’s answer those questions, shall we…
‘LA Noire’ is coming to next-gen (now-gen?) consoles
Well, nobody was expecting this? The hugely-popular ‘LA Noire’ is being given an upgrade and now gamers who use the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and HTC Vive will be able to enjoy it all over again. How cool! The game is expected to be available next month on all of the previously-listed platforms.
Activision Blizzard has BIG eSports plans
eSports just got a little bit bigger thanks to Activision Blizzard. The gaming company has announced that it will be opening a 50,000-square-foot arena for eSports competitions in California, USA. The arena will open its doors next month and will play host to an ‘Overwatch’ tournament. This is awesome!
‘South Park: The Fractured but Whole’ tackles racial inequality
‘South Park’ the television series has always pushed the boundaries of right and wrong, and almost always comes out on the ‘wrong’ side of the debate. That is why people love it, but that is a discussion for another day. What this piece of news is all about is the fact that the darker your skin colour is in ‘South Park: The Fractured but Whole’, the more difficult it is to play the game. Is this a direct attack on racial inequality in life by the creators?
