‘PUBG’ smashes Dota 2’s concurrent players record

Wow! There is no stopping ‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ (PUBG)! The highly addictive multiplayer online battle royale is taking the world by storm and has just demolished Dota 2’s concurrent players record, with 1.35 million people playing the game at the same time. Dota 2’s record was set in 2016, with 1.29 million people playing at once. Well done, ‘PUBG’!

Nintendo Switch lands more big titles

Not only will Nintendo Switch fans be able to play ‘Skyrim’ in November, but Bethesda Softworks has announced that both ‘Doom’ and ‘Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus’ will be heading for the platform soon. How cool is that?! Get ready to kill some monsters and Nazis, Switch fans!

New Nintendo 3DS lands Minecraft

Fans of ‘Minecraft’, get ready to play your favourite game on the New Nintendo 3DS – not the ‘old’ 3DS. The game will be available worldwide soon and has a few people very excited (not all of us at Mega8, as we are yet to give the game a try).
